CarNetix is pleased to announce the CNX-P1280second-generation power regulator for today'sMini-ITX CarPC systems. The CNX-P1280 isbuilt around the same technology used init's popular predecessor, the CNX-P1280,but with the addition of a 2nd output forUSB, or other +5v devices. The second outputcan provide an output of either +5V or +7.5V(jumper selectable) at 3 Amps to power themost demanding USB devices like the AudigyNX USB sound card. The secondary power outputis jumper selectable to provide 1)"AllwaysOn" power, 2) power only in Standbymode, or 3) power only when the main +12Vpower is ON. This gives the ultimate flexibilityto the CarPC system designer in how the systemis powered to prevent battery damage.
