Das könnte eine gute alternative zu dem ganzen Windows Kram sein ... zumal es kostenlos ist.
Was meint ihr dazu ? Weiß vielleicht jemand was es zum Download bereit steht ?

scheint irgendwie ein image für usb sticks zu sein... aber das bringt uns ja nicht weiter.. :( naja zumindest mich nicht.

einfach weiterklicken ? 

Gutsy ist das aktuelle Ubuntu. Dann je nach Hardware eben menlow oder mccaslin klicken .....

UND Ja ... ist ein USB Image und NEIN ist nicht für x86 oder amd64.

Man kann sich aber die sourcen holen und die neu für die jeweilige Plattform kompilieren.

Hallo car-pc Forum!
ich würde in meinen zukünftigen Car PC auf VIA Epia Basis gerne mal Linux zum testen aufspielen. 
Zunächst stellen sich mir folgende Fragen:
Was ist menlow und mccaslin?
Und kann ich die Sourcen ohne weiteres so kompilieren, dass sie auf einem x86 Epia System laufen?
So wie es aussieht sollte man warten bis Ubuntu 8.04 rauskommt und die Mobile Version nachzieht, aber ausprobieren würde ich das ganze schon gerne einmal vorher.
Für ein paar Tips wäre ich sehr dankbar.
