Steps to solve (only for the brave at heart) 1. Disable the "USB Audio Device" in the Sound, Video and Game Controllers Section of the Device Manager in windows 2. Check that there is no static anymore (but there is no radio sound at all since we have disable the sound from the radio comming throught the USB device) 3. Solder the wires of an old head phone with a 3,5 mm jack to pin 3 (left channel) of the amplifier chip (this is the middle chip on the SiLabs radio) and pin 5 (right channel). Solder the ground of your hard phone cable at some plave that is grounded in the USB device (I mesefl used the hole next to the antenna wire 4. Connect to 3,5mm jack to your line-in connector on your soundcard/main board. This will give you crystal clear sound when using the radio and complete silence when not using the radio. |
