CarNetix is pleased to announce the CNX-P1280 second-generation power regulator for today's Mini-ITX CarPC systems. The CNX-P1280 is built around the same technology used in it's popular predecessor, the CNX-P1280, but with the addition of a 2nd output for USB, or other +5v devices. The second output can provide an output of either +5V or +7.5V (jumper selectable) at 3 Amps to power the most demanding USB devices like the Audigy NX USB sound card. The secondary power output is jumper selectable to provide 1)"Allways On" power, 2) power only in Standby mode, or 3) power only when the main +12V power is ON. This gives the ultimate flexibility to the CarPC system designer in how the system is powered to prevent battery damage.
