I have a Passat B5.5 cluster and I want to create a samll circuit which can send text into. As I know there are radio mode and navi mode. The radio mode can show the upper first two line (2x8 character). It works with 3lb protocol via 3 wire: Enable, data, clock. The navi mode may works with K line or can bus. Firstly my porpuse is to use the radio mode. To make the circuit I want to use atmega8. In the first line of fis I want to send constant text. In the second one something via serial port which can scroll the longer text. Is there anybody who made soething like that or can give me a basic source code how it is works? I red about FIS-FOOL but I reached only the hardver. The other one is the FIS CONTROL which is nice project but it is difficult for me and I dont have the source code also.
